Yujian Xu was born in Anhui, China. He majored in applied chemistry at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, and got his B.S in 2019. In the same year, he joined in the Gibb group at Tulane University to pursue his PhD degree. He is currently focused on the supramolecular chemistry of proteins in water.
