Mardi Gras Symposium huge success!!!

Tulane University hosted the 2014 Mardi Gras Symposium on February 28th 2014. Over 100 registered attendees were present representing 10 organizations and four countries. Bruce C. Gibb, and Janarthanan Jayawickramanarajah organized the event held in the Lavin-Bernick Center of Tulane’s uptown campus which was sponsored by: Tulane University, Nature Chemistry, ChemComm, University of New Orleans, and the Louisiana Section of the American Chemical Society.
The Mardi Gras Symosium featured keynote speakers in the fields of Supramolecular Chemistry and included: Eric Anslyn, Phillip Gale, Thorfinnur Gunnlaugson, Jonathan Sessler, Bradley Smith, J. Fraser Stoddart, and Normand Voyer.
A poster session and reception followed the symposium.
