Priyanka hails from Odisha, an east Indian state on the Bay of Bengal. She obtained her Integrated Masters degree from the National Institute of Technology in Rourkela, Odisha. She started her PhD work at Tulane University in the Fall of 2021, and joined the Gibb Group in November of the same year. She is is currently working on reactions and organocatalysis within water-soluble hosts.
