Jenny was born in Seoul, South Korea but has spent the last decade in New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from the University of New Orleans in 2018 with a B.S. degree in Chemistry. After her stint in an analytical lab, she decided to pursue her PhD degree at Tulane in 2020. She joined the Gibb group in fall of the same year. Her current research is centered on cavitand synthesis and reactions inside capsules.
